Our approach to social facilitation on all projects is centred on two main factors: environmental scanning and intelligence gathering.
Environmental scanning allows us to help clients identify risks by identifying affected villages, wards, municipalities, etc. for stakeholder mapping. This allows us to determine the project’s stakeholder parties and their proximity to the project. Intelligence gathering allows us to bring clients an assessment the current stakeholder situation and gather insights into the current dynamics in the affected communities. This allows us to bring clients an understanding of stakeholder interests and possible disruptions to the project.
These dynamics can include ongoing community issues and conflict resolution, project outcomes and expectations and the impact of the project on these communities.
